15 SECONDS

 

Em 15 de Outubro celebramos 15 anos sobre a primeira edição do festival Fonlad. O festival sempre teve uma forte componente online, razão de ser da sua própria existência e até única nas primeiras cinco edições. A componente expositiva e performativa sempre acompanharam o festival, primeiro timidamente, e mais assumida nos últimos anos, suplantando mesmo a componente online.
Uma das características dos últimos anos foi a de propor aos artistas diversos desafios de criação, seja sob a forma de residências e instalações site specific, seja através de exposições físicas e online em plataformas específicas criadas para o efeito, como o era o Web Art Center.
Nesta 15ª edição, desafiaram-se alguns artistas a produzirem / apresentarem uma proposta artística de 15 segundos de duração de temática livre. O resultado fala por si. Orgulhamo-nos de trabalhar com tanta gente boa. Obrigado a todos pela brilhante e emotiva colaboração.

On October 15th, we celebrated 15 years of the first edition of the Fonlad festival. The festival has always had a strong online component, the reason for its existence and even unique in the first five editions. The exhibition and performative component always accompany the festival, first timidly, and more assumed in recent years, even surpassing an online component.
One of the characteristics of the last few years was the proportion of artists with different creative challenges, whether in the form of specific residences and installations on the site, or through physical and online specifications on specific platforms for this purpose, such as the Web Art Center .
In this 15th edition, some artists were challenged to produce / present a 15-second artistic proposal with a free theme. The result speaks for itself. We are proud to work with so many good people. Thank you all for the brilliant and emotional collaboration.
